Behind the seemingly conservative facade of the banking sector, the wheels are in motion as banks are turning to innovative mobile technology tools to meet the increasingly developed demands of their clients.
From finding an ATM machine to the benefits of e-banking, retail banks have already witnessed the ways in which mobile technology can be of use to their clients. The private banking sector, one largely based on the level of care and attention brought to client relations, is also taking advantage of innovations to manage interaction with clients and strengthen customer relationships.
Philippe Charpier, head of blue-infinity's Systems Integration Discipline, addresses the benefits and risks of applying this new technology to the banking sector in this article for the October edition of the ICT Journal.
