Marie Kuter, a member of blue-infinity UX team, is just back from a business trip in Bangkok, Thailand. She was invited to the TechNet-21 Conference. Organized by the World Health Organization and UNICEF, the 14th annual meeting of TechNet is the largest global conference that gathers immunization professionals from all around the world to meet and discuss the latest developments in immunization practices and policy.
During the previous months, Marie and Florian Udrisard, another consultant in the UX team, have worked hard to prepare wireframes and prototypes for a special initiative at WHO that helps keep countries prepared for global emergencies. Marie was invited to the TechNet conference to present the screens in a forum and gather initial feedback from stakeholders, as well as learn news and tap resources from professionals in the immunization field.
During the 5 days of the conference, Marie had the chance to take part in presenting the project to various stakeholders from different regions, including Togo, China and India. A team from Tanzania was extremely interested and requested a special session. “This was the first time I had the opportunity to conduct feedbacks gathering at such an international scale. I feel very lucky to have met such interesting and passionate persons from so different cultures.”
Marie has experienced South East Asia on her personal travels and is taking this opportunity to travel a bit around the country, sending her best from Erawan national park, close to Kanchanaburi, and Koh Lanta island. “Thailand is an exciting destination and I’m grateful to be here, even in 40 degree weather with the rainy season upon us! Fortunately the conference falls between two long weekends here in Europe, the advantage being I can see a bit of local scenery as well.”
