Geneva feeling the force!

blue-infinity, in partnership with Salesforce, were proud to host an event in Geneva on the latest in CRM solutions, with nearly 100 guests in attendance, and guest speakers from Chopard and Gavi Alliance.

Guests enjoyed a unique afternoon at the Warwick Hotel, Geneva with expert speakers from a wide range of industries. Many in the audience found the case studies and in-depth presentations "helped understand better Salesforce services" and were pleased to hear "customer experiences from different sectors and common challenges."

Salesforce's Blaise Roulet and Philippe Alba presented their latest innovations and 2016 vision to better connect clients and businesses, annouced just earlier in San Francisco, showcasing Salesforce's Customer Success Platform, their most evolved and performant Cloud enterprise solution ever.

blue-infinity's Cyril Louis and Pierre Aebischer discussed omni channel trends and the customer expectations of today. Cyril focused on blue-infinity's own solution CRM Central, a unique mobile offering that combines in-store clienteling and offline/online retail execution for sales teams in a single application. He went on to explain how omni channel customers "expect you to know what they want and be rewarded for their loyalty." To fulfil this expectation, brands first need to understand their clients’ behaviour across those channels, in order to build targeted communications, services and rewards. As Cyril stated, "The challenge is not only in collecting information from different sources and analysing them, but to also redesign sales and marketing processes to support engagement, conversion and retention across all touch points".

Olivier Emery, CIO of Chopard, gave valuable and unique insights on Chopard's approach to clienteling and supporting an omni channel strategy. He delighted the audience with at-times candid descriptions of retail environments, never failing to provide both personal and shop-floor anecdotes. Chopard's collaboration with blue-infinity has so far proved very fruitful and combined with Emery's dynamic fervour for retail improvement, the business is well poised for a new era of retailing.

David Nix, Chief Knowledge Officer at GAVI Alliance gave a heartfelt account of the value in applying Salesforce solutions in the non-profit arena. He also shared GAVI's vision for the future and the challenges they faced in a world where "many countries themselves don't know [enough about] their own populations."
