Following studies at HES Lausanne, Fabrizio Scamuffa started his professional life as an E-commerce developer, programming web content. Later he adapted himself as a web content programmer for luxury, private banking and retail companies.
Flexibility is his major strength in facing daily challenges. On a large scale market deployment for this FMCG client, the project scope is significant, and Fabrizio highlights the importance of making solutions adaptable for the markets and vice versa.
Scrum certified, Fabrizio puts his knowledge to work in a real context. He can also impart knowledge to new arrivals. “With a challenging workload, new colleagues need to be up to speed rapidly. I like helping others with their questions.”
Fabrizio sees a lot of advantages working at blue-infinity: The variety of customers within different industries makes it exciting and interesting. “Internal formal and ‘fun’ events with our teams encourages camaraderie. Moreover, there’s a good team spirit with colleagues.”
Surrounded by technology addicts from around the world, he highlights the training of blue-infinity employees as a good way to stay up-to-date. “At blue-infinity, we encourage everyone to become an expert. By giving the opportunity to all the employees to be trained and certified in different technologies, the company will stay a forerunner in terms of digital.”
Fabrizio is positive about the future. “In five years, I see myself with a PM certification (PMP) to qualify my skills and will enjoy taking on more responsibilities at blue-infinity.”
Fabrizio has two passions to help wind down and release pressure. As an avid trout fisherman in his spare time, he also enjoys dancing Samba with his Brazilian wife, and plans to discover her coutnry more. He appreciates the simplicity of the South American culture, which in turn makes him less critical and more relaxed in himself.
