Charity run Prague

blue-infinity Prague were pleased to sponsor and take part in the recent charity event in Central Park, on Saturday 14th May, 2016. Proudly participating from blue-infinity Prague were our team of digital addicts Barbora, Francesca, Sara, Michaela and Charles.

The event is called HALDA 2016 and is in its second year, hosting a series of off-road cycle and running events, in support of the 'Sport Pomaha' (Sport Aid) charity with provides help for disadvantaged children and orphans across the Czech Republic. It boasts 13 unique combination races of MTB Cross-country mountain bike 'Krosového' and a rich accompanying program for the whole family and four-legged friends.

blue-infinity sponsored an 18.9km cycle race - 7 laps of the 2.7km course with 57m climbing and 57m descent on each lap.

The charity operates by organising sports events to raise money which is then pledged to individual children for their personal development e.g. paying for music lessons, funding sports activities, coaching and other specialized lessons etc.

The charity does not donate directly to orphanages or to orphans, but spends the money directly with the providers of the services based on validated requests for support from the children themselves and from their guardians.
