“Salesforce is the future. It offers a maximum of flexibility as a CRM product. We are able to integrate existing tools into our client solutions but can easily integrate additional applications according to their needs.”
Bertrand Cirot is a Salesforce technical expert and was one of the first members of our Salesforce team, now the largest in Western Switzerland - and growing. However, he originally started in blue-infinity’s Java Practice in 2011, his exposure in this area of development and extensive work with UX and Design teams allowing him to now understand overall project vision much better.
His current project and biggest challenge of his career so far, is a humanitarian grant management portal which spans diverse areas of expertise. “We had no fully defined team at the beginning. We created everything through proof of concept, feasibility testing, architecture, implementation… It’s already so rewarding to see the amazing results of our collaboration within such an ambitious organization."
Bertrand feels rigor and process can bring quality and progress, even if “there can be exceptions to the rule.” His client advisory role on architecture, functional aspects and finding technical solutions is what he most appreciates. Bertrand always tries to support the client in their decisions, paramount when more and more technologies are available and choices are widening. He highlights the importance of juggling project priorities, streamlining requests, defining deadlines and strong collaboration to reach objectives.
New technologies bring new challenges and Bertrand always has something to learn. “We have a lot of great training opportunities at blue-infinity which keep us up-to-date and are really important for both the client and team strength.”
“What I like at blue-infinity is the consideration of our employees, the way the company takes care of us. My tenure is a testament to that. My passion is IT and I’ve successfully turned it into a profession.”
Bertrand stays on top of latest happenings in the digital world, such as development Libraries, Framework, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, sharing with colleagues. “At blue-infinity, we all have this technophile sensibility, this digital culture.”
