Our plans for a Digital Centre of Excellence in Brno are well underway. In addition to our Prague offices, we have established a temporary office space in Brno, to accommodate our new team of digital addicts from 1st April 2017, whilst our permanent offices are being constructed.
What blue-infinity digital services are offered from the Czech Republic? “We are continuing our Czech digital journey by developing our Salesforce team and the plans are significant – we are building strength in Central and Eastern Europe. The market is now more mature for digital transformation and a customer first approach. CRM solutions are increasingly solicited by companies in the region and our ambitious team will support projects across Europe.” says Czech Republic Digital Practice Manager, Daniel Urminský.
Where is Brno? "Brno is 200km east from Prague in Moravia, under a two hour drive, and just over one hour from Vienna and Bratislava" says Daniel. Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic by population and area, and lies at the confluence of the Svitava and Svratka rivers with 400,000 inhabitants.
Over the past two decades Brno has evolved into an important university city. Brno has 14 universities amongst which most provide polytechnic education. One notable institution is the Brno University of Technology, established in 1899. Today with over 20,000 students it ranks amongst Czech Republic's foremost technical universities. The other major university is Masaryk University with over 35,000 students.
What is the Brno area like? "Brno is a buzzing place to be. Apart from the vineyards located south of the city, it is a vibrant place with a start up mind-set, talented young people and technical universities" says Daniel. Brno is considered to be the “Silicon Valley” of the Czech Republic as it is a home to many subsidiaries of global companies, international startups as well as local IT companies. In 2016 it ranked in the Europe’s top 20 by the quality of life and #46 worldwide!" he adds.
