Thomas’ Master’s degree in International Marketing & Management in Denmark kick-started his career, after a major in brand strategy and B2B relationship theories, and thesis on implementing CRM for SMEs. “Brands have to understand the needs of their customers. I wanted to engage in finding solutions and providing recommendations to companies” he says.
Thomas helps develop Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions at blue-infinity. Collecting data from many data sources leads to smart marketing. “Gathering insights such as interests, tastes, and location enable brands to tailor their messages.” The aim is to create a personalised and branded marketing that assists and guides customers. Marketing Cloud is a fast-moving area and Thomas is excited to develop his expertise alongside our team. He highlights the high concentration of FMCG, retailers and luxury industries in Switzerland, and the strategic location of blue-infinity in Geneva that allows us to meet the growing need in CRM solutions across various industries. “The endless opportunities and challenges motivates me. Everyone here enjoys their work, the company culture and environment. I am driven by that.”
All the big companies across the world started implementing CRM systems ten years ago. Collecting large amounts of data and knowing customers is part of a transformation already undertaken by major players. “It's logical that Marketing Cloud will be the next big step. At blue-infinity we enable our clients to use this data to connect with their customers and stakeholders.”
Thomas is a digital addict as well as a sports and travel buff. “What I enjoy the most about consultancy is that it gives me many opportunities to work on local and global projects, allowing me to travel.” Thomas has lived and worked in many countries including Denmark, New Zealand, Canada, United States, United Kingdom France and now Switzerland. “The world is becoming very small, especially when you travel a lot. I enjoy taking the plane, running half-marathon and returning home.”
