Meet our people: Arne

Meet the diverse people at blue-infinity that help make us distinctive. Exchanging ideas and creating relationships is most important for Arne Schep, who created his own brand of beer for a social media project at University combining QR codes and FaceTime.

Arne joined us in January 2016 for an end-of studies internship in our Creative Studio. A passion for art, visiting museums, dreaming-up concepts and sketching, Arne also has an appreciation for technology and the power of digital. “I feel blue-infinity is the right place for me because I can bring my two passions together and in the open space we can move, walk, discuss with colleagues. It leads to real exchanges with others.”

Arne lights up the office with his cheerfulness. “I’m always happy to come at work to learn new things, discover new techniques. People say I’m Mr Brightside!” Fascinated by animation, his curiosity finds inspiration everywhere - from video games to designers’ showreels. “I love League of Legends videogame – colorful, artistic, mixing icons, characters, interfaces, streams… Indirectly it really brings me a lot on the design part. I’m really receptive to these things.”

Arne was involved in an extensive project for a leading FMCG client. “We created more than 4’000 visuals of all the brand’s products in three months. My organisation was meticulous and needed to be perfect at every step. It helped me be both rigorous and relational as I had a direct contact with the client and with high autonomy” he says.

Arne grows alongside his colleagues, through team discussions and the mutual goal to succeed. “We all have our field of predilection in the Creative Studio. The people around me are expert, talented and diverse. It’s pleasant and gratifying to find my own place in such a unit.”

Arne likes to be challenged and to seek feedback, convinced that understanding and incorporating other people’s ideas can improve his work. “At blue-infinity, cultures and mindsets can be really different. Everyone has their own vision of design and perceives the digital world differently. It stimulates our creativity!”
