OFFF the charts: Takeaways

Our Creative Studio team attended the 18th edition of OFFF Festival, Barcelona’s digital culture forum, here are their experiences:

What is OFFF?

The question of what OFFF is remains largely unanswered, this community invites all those who are eager to learn to participate and get inspired in a three-day journey of conferences, workshops, activities and performances. The global arts and creative community will gather with inexhaustible imagination, inventiveness and innovation.

What did the team have to say?

“OFFF festival is a space for creation, it's a moment where we find time to inspire ourselves, share our ideas, and unite as a team. It's an opportunity to take a step back, forget everything we know and open ourselves to other approaches and inspirations, the pace is fast and the stories are inspirational.”

Marie Blanchot, Manager - Creative teams

“To believe in myself, collaborate with an open mind, treasure ideas and not overthink. After all, people will always remember what they felt and not what they saw or heard. Emotion is key to design!”

Elodie Morlé, Art Director

“Many speakers talked about design in a way that we should create, regardless of meaning. Creation is something that drives us - just make something, take a picture, write or code something... That’s how we push creativity to the next level.”

Arne Robert Schep, Art Director

“Always try and learn new things, have fun on projects and feed your portfolio with the projects that are close to your heart.”

Clément Cheguillaume, Art Director / Motion Designer

“Invest in yourself and promote cool things. We have a strong know-how in design and creation, this enables us to deliver cutting-edge solutions”.

Clément Schwarz, Digital CMS expert

The brand that struck me this year was FutureDeluxe, a small company with an eye for aesthetics. Their secret? Investment in personal projects, putting forward artistic experimentation, and lastly, they fuse computer generated images with real shots to gain a stronger emotional response - this pushes boundaries."

Nathalie Cauvi, Art Director

Be proud of your work. Have fun with people, clients and don't fear complexity, take the time to evolve."

Romain Grossier, Art Director

“OFFF Festival is more than just a one time meet-and-greet with talented artists, it gives our team an opportunity to grow stronger, together. If you want to succeed in this space, you have to be curious, and continuously question what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. We have all the creative tools we need, it falls on us to leverage them and leave our comfort zone.”

Gabriel Monnier, Associate Marketing & Communications
