blue-infinity #TechChallenge2017 - Lisbon

A 40-hour team challenge – can you tech it? In association with the University of Coimbra and BEST - Coimbra.

blue-infinity #TechChallenge2017 is your opportunity to develop a real working project from scratch, guided by eight blue-infinity mentors.

10 teams of 4 people will have 40 hours over a weekend to do this. This is a unique event in format, innovation, and prize offer.

What’s the goal?
Show off your technical skills, teamwork and innovation! You can win an internship and/or entry into our Ambassador Programme.

When and where?
Friday 24th to Sunday 26th November, 2017 at blue-infinity’s offices in Lisbon.

How to enter?
Registration is open from 25th October to 15th November 2017 Use our CV template. You’ll need an original team name, to appoint a leader and convince us of your motivation to take part (in 150 words or less). 

Team selection
Participating teams are selected based on their level of diversity across (1) technical expertise, (2) course of study/degree program, and (3) motivation.

Teams will be advised of their selection by Friday 17th November, 2017.

Winner selection & prizes
The winning team and runner-up will be announced on Wednesday 29th November and will be chosen based on their ability to combine technical expertise and innovation with an original concept, in addition to how well they work as a team and with other teams.

  • 1st Prize: A 3-month internship at blue-infinity and entry into the blue-infinity Ambassador Program.
  • 2nd prize: Entry into our Ambassador Program.

Note: All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

blue-infinity Ambassador Program
For a period of 9 months you will be paired with mentor at blue-infinity who will dedicate a 1 1/2 hour session every month, guiding you on the technical and soft skills you need for a successful start in the professional world. You will also have the opportunity to take part in numerous company activities.
