Xavier has been instrumental in leading successful deployments such as the WHO’s Polio Information System, a new suite of digital tools to collect, analyse and redistribute data linked to global polio cases.

Xavier Bocken leads the Microsoft Solutions practice at blue-infinity, a team of nearly 40 consultants, including three MVPs, focusing on Digital Workplace, CRM, Collaboration and Cloud solutions for major international clients across Western Switzerland. His expertise combines in-depth knowledge of database management systems with strong development experience, using Microsoft .Net technologies.

In blue-infinity’s collaboration with leading humanitarian bodies, Xavier has been instrumental in leading successful deployments such as the WHO’s Polio Information System, a new suite of digital tools to collect, analyse and redistribute data linked to global polio cases, and UNAIDS Country Response Information System for tracking the HIV pandemic.

Prior to his current role, Xavier led numerous development projects for seven years at blue-infinity and counts 14 years of experience in the software industry. From his native Belgium where he developed software for road lighting, to the United States where he was a software engineer for Microsoft in Redmond, Xavier now lights the way with his hands-on project leadership and practical skills in system architecture and data modeling, requirements gathering and quality assurance.
